THE MANDALORIAN DOCUSERIES IS HEADING TO DISNEY+ ON STAR WARS DAY


The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian is getting an eight episode docuseries on Disney+ and will premiere on May 4, 2020. Most commonly known as Star Wars Day.

Officially titled Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, the docuseries will take viewers deep behind the scenes into the making of the breakout series. Each chapter of the docuseries will explore the different facets that went into making the first-ever live-action through interviews, never-before-seen footage, and roundtable discussions that will be hosted by series creator Jon Favreau.

Among the aforementioned topics above, other topics that will be explored will be the filmmaking process of the series, the legacy of Star Wars creator George Lucas, how the star-studded cast brought these characters to life, the groundbreaking technology used to bring the series to life.

The artistry behind the series will also be explored. With looks at the series’ practical models, effects and creatures. Additionally, the creative influences, the score and connections to the Star Wars universe will also be explored. The first of its kind, Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian will soon become a highly anticipated series for those who are fans of Star Wars, The Mandalorian and those who simply watched because of Baby Yoda.

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian premieres on Star Wars Day, May 4th. As well as the finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ final season.

The Mandalorian Season 2 arrives on Disney+ in the Fall of 2020.
