MARK RUFFALO IS IN EARLY TALKS TO APPEAR IN THE SHE-HULK DISNEY+ SERIES

Mark Ruffalo

Ever since the announcement of the She-Hulk Disney+ solo series, many fans have been wondering whether or not Mark Ruffalo would be making an appearance in the series. Even if it was a brief cameo. Given the relation between the two characters, the answer to that question seemed quite obvious. But despite the obvious, we had no real confirmation as to whether or not a Bruce Banner/Hulk appearance or cameo was even possible. That’s until Mark Ruffalo spilled the beans…..not really.

This past weekend during a live panel at C2E2, Mark Ruffalo revealed that he and Marvel Studios are now in preliminary talks regarding him making an appearance in the She-Hulk series.

According to some reports late last month, the She-Hulk solo series would be accurately adapting Jennifer Walter’s She-Hulk comic book origin. In said comic book origin, Jennifer Walters is severely injured and required a blood transfusion. Fortunately for her, her cousin Bruce Banner is the only person who’s blood is compatible with hers. Unfortunately for her, that blood is laced with gamma radiation thus giving Jennifer Walkers that same gamma radiation Bruce Banner has, thus allowing her to become She-Hulk.

Mark Ruffalo

If the She-Hulk series is indeed adapting this very same origin, then a cameo from Mark Ruffalo is needed to portray it accurately. Additionally, months after the release of Avengers: Endgame we got the news that Mark Ruffalo would be meeting with Kevin Feige to discuss ideas and future plans for Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this appearance/cameo was one of the many cards laid out on the table for Mark Ruffalo to choose from. While yet to be official news, there have also been rumblings about Marvel securing back the rights to Hulk, She-Hulk, and Namor from Universal. Whom Marvel Studios had shared rights with.
