Mortal Kombat 11’s Final Kombat tournament was set to take place over the course of this weekend. Due to the overgrowing coronavirus concerns, NetheRealm Studios has decided to just livestream the tournament instead of having a live audience on location. Vastly understood as health concerns for all parties involved should be the primary concern.
SXSW and Emerald City Comic-Con are among the newly added large events to be entirely canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic that’s been sweeping the world on a global scale. American films like Sonic The Hedgehog, Mulan and 007: No Time To Die have also seen their international release dates either postponed or canceled entirely.
But despite the last-minute changes Sunday is looking to be action-packed! Not only are we getting some intense matches. We are getting the official gameplay reveal for Spawn. Something fans have been anxiously waiting for. A teaser for the upcoming revel was released earlier this week, you can check that out below.
Adding to the hype is the red-band trailer for Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge. Additionally, fans of DC and DC Universe’s Harley Quinn animated series will get an official sneak peek at Harley Quinn Season 2 during the Final Kombat livestream.
DC Universe’s Harley Quinn Season 2 concluded its freshman season just a couple of weeks ago and following its conclusion, a second season was immediately announced and is slated to arrive on April 3rd.
Fans looking to tune into MK 11’s Final Kombat Tournament can tune in on Netherrealm’s Twitch, Youtube Channel, Facebook, and Twitter.
