Mortal Kombat Legends will see Joel McHale reprising his role as Johnny Cage in ‘Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match’ which is set to arrive in 2023.

Mortal Kombat Legends film producer Rick Morales, who also directed Snow Blind was in the house to confirm the announcement. Joel McHale first voiced Johnny Cage in ‘Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge’ and ‘Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms’ but as nowhere to see in ‘MKL: Snow Blind’. Now that McHale and Cage will be the focal point of the next film, Cage fans are in for a treat.

When speaking to The Nerdy Basement at NYCC about what’s next after ‘Snow Blind’, [Rick] Morales mentioned that he wanted to “open the door for a world of endless possibilities around Mortal Kombat”. ‘Snow Blind’ and ‘Cage Match’ are further proof that Morales, using this production prowess has done just that.
