Harry Lawtey is poised to be a big contender in ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’
Harry Lawtey is the latest actor to join Todd Phillips’ ‘Joker: Folie À Deux’ starring Joaquín Phoenix, Lady Gaga, and Zazie Beetz. Plot details for Joker 2 are heavily under wraps as well as Lawtey’s role, however, according to Deadline, Harry’s role will be a big one. Todd Phillips will direct from a script written alongside Scott Silver. As with the first ‘Joker’ film, this sequel will be set apart from the main DC Extended Universe canon.
Joker 2 is expected to go into production this December, with an eye toward a theatrical release on October 4, 2024. Previously announced cast members include Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener. Harry Lawtey is known for his role in HBO’s ‘Industry’ and will be seen next in Netflix’s ‘The Pale Blue Eye’ starring Christian Bale.
