BLACK WIDOW

Scarlett Johansson‘s Black Widow solo film is deep into its development and casting is well underway. A few weeks ago, That Hashtag Show reported a list of actresses Marvel Studios were eyeing as frontrunners to co-star alongside ScarJo.

Today The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Florence Pugh (Lady McBeth, Outlaw King) is in final talks to star in the film. As I mentioned before, That Hashtag Show reported a list of frontrunners for this co-lead spot, but reported that Emma Watson (Harry Potter, Beauty and the Beast) first because she’s the bigger name.

At the moment the plot details are heavily under wraps, but what we do know is that the film will take place prior to the events of The Avengers (2012)

Black Widow is expected to release in 2020.
