Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans have been on fire lately with their highly praised ongoing comic series DIE. Ever since the series first launched back in December 2018, each issue has earned more praise than the last. Each issue has been on high demand and has been reprinted multiple times. This time DIE #4 heads back for its second printing and thanks to Image Comics we are able to reveal the cover; you can check it out below:
DIE is a pitch-black fantasy where a group of adults have to deal with the returning unearthly horror they barely survived as teenage role-players. The series is perhaps best described as “Goth Jumanji”—but that only captures a sliver of what you’ll find in this series where fantasy gets all too real.
Potential Spoilers if you haven’t read DIE #4:
In DIE #4 our heroes reach the civilization of Glass Town and do what heroes have always done upon reaching civilization. As in, go to the pub. As it’s Die, you can guess people don’t exactly get happy drunk.
