WWE TRADEMARKS OLD WCW AND ECW PPV NAMES

It is being reported that WWE has gone on what is seen as a ‘trademark spree’ recently.

The wrestling company has applied and filed for trademarks of previously used World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) pay-per-view names.

The move comes on the heels of All-Elite Wrestling (AEW) Vice Executive, Cody Rhodes, filing a trademark an old WCW PPV event name, Bash At The Beach, as well as other names a month ago.

According to PWInsider, WWE has applied for trademarks for the following names:

Fully Loaded ▪ Living Dangerously ▪ Heat Wave ▪ Anarchy Rulz ▪ World War 3 ▪ Chi-Town Rumble ▪ Sin ▪ Souled Out ▪ New Blood Rising ▪ Hog Wild ▪ Capital Combat ▪ Road Wild ▪ Greed ▪ Uncensored ▪ Spring Stampede ▪ The Day Of ▪ Mayhem ▪ Beach Blast ▪ Massacre on 34th Street ▪ Hardcore Heaven ▪ Eat Sleep Conquer Repeat

We are not sure how, or if, WWE plans to use any of the above-mentioned names for future pay-per-view events ▪
