#THANKYOUJUSHIN – LEGENDARY JAPANESE WRESTLER JUSHIN ‘THUNDER’ LIGER RETIRES AT WRESTLEKINGDOM 14


Congratulations to legendary Japanese masked wrestler and international superstar, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, on his amazing and storied career. Liger wrestled his last match at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s (NJPW) WrestleKingdom 14 event at The Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, this past Sunday, January 5th, 2020.

An icon in the world of professional wrestling and a staple in the cruiserweight division, Liger’s wrestling has spanned three and a half decades and well over 4,000 matches! He is reknowned worldwide in the sport as he’s competed in every wrestling promotion in existence!

Furthermore, Liger has the distinction of wrestling against a Who’s Who in the sport: “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Sting, The Great Muta, Tiger Mask, Akira Nogami, Kushida, Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe, Adam Cole, Jay Lethal, “Iceman” Dean Malenko, Juventud Guerrera, Ultimo Dragon, La Parka, Psicosis, Negro Casas, Hector Garza, Mistico, Konnan, the lates Brian Pillman, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit, among others.
