WANDAVISION AUDITION TAPE HINTS AT A POSSIBLE QUICKSILVER RETURN

WANDAVISION

A new audition tape for the upcoming WandaVision Disney+ series has surfaced and it features 8-year-old actor Nick Fisher auditioning for the role of one of Wanda and Vision’s twins. While the tape doesn’t specify which twin Nick is auditioning for (Wiccan or Speed), one of the featured scenes reveals the twin(s) attempting to wake up their uncle. We all know who that uncle is, none other than Wanda’s twin brother Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver.

Many fans know that Quicksilver made his live-action MCU debut in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and unfortunately, met his demise in the same film as well. Ever since Marvel Studios shot Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, which filmed continuously for 9 months. The rumor mill spun rampantly which lead to a wave of reports stating that Aaron Taylor-Johnson was spotted on the set and would be making a cameo in Avengers: Endgame. Avengers: Endgame came and went and no Quicksilver to be seen…maybe he was just too fast for our naked eyes to see…all puns intended. I bet you didn’t see that coming!

All puns aside, WandaVision is poised to explore a world that Wanda sees fit to her liking, thus the subtly in the title meaning Wanda’s vision. This would be us, the viewing audience seeing the world through her eyes in what would be her “perfect vision”. Her “perfect vision” will include a Vision who isn’t dead, a Quicksilver who is still alive and of course, her and Vision becoming parents thus Wanda having her twin boys Wiccan and Speed. While that’s just what we know, the potential of where the show can go is limitless. Thus leading us directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

WandaVision will be releasing in 2020 instead of early 2021 as initially announced.
