Disney Plus’s next animated short The Simpsons: The Good, The Bart and The Loki set to premiere July 7th
Disney Plus has announced a new Marvel-themed animated short for The Simpsons. This time around this new animated short will be a crossover between The Simpsons and Marvel Studios’ Loki, which is currently streaming on Disney Plus. The Simpsons: The Good, The Bart, and The Loki is set to premiere July 7th alongside the fifth episode of the Marvel Studios/Disney Plus original series, Loki.
In The Simpsons: The Good, The Bart, and The Loki, Loki is banished from Asgard once again and must face his toughest opponents yet: the Simpsons and Springfield’s mightiest heroes. The God of Mischief teams up with Bart Simpson in the ultimate crossover event paying tribute to the Marvel Cinematic Universe of Super Heroes and villains.
Marvel Studios veteran Tom Hiddleston returns to voice Loki in this new animated short. As the God of Mischief will be seen alongside many fan-favorite characters from The Simpsons series. An official poster for the animated short was also released alongside the official announcement and can be seen above. The poster is heavily inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame which released back in 2019 and is currently streaming on Disney Plus.
The Simpsons: The Good, The Bart, and The Loki is the second in a series of Disney Plus animated shorts from ‘The Simpsons’ that highlight the service’s marquee brands and titles. The previously released Star Wars-themed short “Maggie Simpson in ‘The Force Awakens from Its Nap’” is now streaming on Disney+.
