Batwoman has officially made her San Diego Comic-Con debut with the exception of leading actor and star of the series, Ruby Rose. Friday night Ruby Rose took to Instagram to reveal to fans and followers alike that she would not be able to attend her very first San Diego Comic-Con, due to her extremely tight filming schedule. She revealed that she is still currently shooting Batwoman and tried everything humanly possible to attend but it did not work out. Today during the Batwoman panel, the showrunners and producers confirmed her statement.
But the show must go on, a lot of juicy details came out of the panel including this brand new poster which you can check out below:
One of the biggest announcements from today’s panel was, that iconic Batman villain Hush would be making his life action debut in the first season of the series. Season One of Batwoman will dive into Tommy Elliot’s origin and his downward spiral into becoming Hush.
Also coming out the panel is that Burt Ward, who played Robin in the 1960s Batman live action series will appear in Batwoman’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover episode. That’s huge news along with the announcement of Brandon Routh donning the Superman suit once again.
