The Cast of Moon Knight is Rounding Up As Ethan Hawke Joins The Cast

Ethan Hawke has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight Variety reports. The Oscar-nominated actor will reportedly star in the lead villainous role for the series which means he will star opposite Oscar Isaac who has now been officially confirmed to portray Marc Spector and his alter ego Moon Knight. May Calamawy has recently joined the cast as well in an undisclosed role.

Moon Knight is one of the many Marvel Studios original tv shows coming to Disney+, along with WandaVision which premiered today, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Ms. Marvel and so many others which were announced before the end of 2020.

“Moon Knight” tells the story of Marc Spector (Isaac), an elite soldier and mercenary who decides to fight crime after he becomes the human avatar of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon.

It was previously announced that Jeremy Slater will serve as the writer, executive producer, and showrunner on “Moon Knight.” As with all the Marvel-Disney Plus shows, it will be produced by Kevin Feige’s Marvel Studios. Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead will direct.
