When it comes to Moon Knight fans expect dark, gritty, and a badass Marc Spector underneath the cape, mask, and hood. Ever since the announcement of Moon Knight this past Summer, fan reception has been mixed and highly divisive. This latest rumor report has already added more fuel to that firey divisiveness amongst the fans who are both excited or cautiously optimistic about the upcoming series.
According to a report by MCU Cosmic, via Full Circle Cinema, the latter outlet has learned that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is being considered for the role of Marc Spector/Moon Knight in the upcoming Disney+ series.
Casting for Marvel Studio’s upcoming Moon Knight may soon be underway. Daniel Radcliffe is one of the actors Kevin Feige and Co. are considering for the role of Marc Spector in the upcoming Disney+ series, Full Circle Cinema has learned.
Marc Spector is one of Marvel’s most popular Jewish superheroes and it looks like Marvel is looking to accurately portray that onscreen with Daniel Radcliffe (if hired for the role) since he is half Jewish. Marc Spector’s Jewish background is one of his key characteristics and fans of the character have been very vocal about having that aspect of the superhero accurately portrayed on screen.
As mentioned above, this is just a rumor for now until Marvel Studios makes an official announcement. Moon Knight is looking to start production rather soon since Kevin Feige revealed that the Moon Knight series along with She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel will all be ready for Disney+ by the end of 2020.
