Ryan Wilder’s redesigned Batwoman suit has been revealed in newly released images
Batwoman Season 2 is well into production and while we get our first screen test look at Javicia Leslie’s Ryan Wilder last month. Fans were still awaiting to see what her new Batwoman suit would look like, and today, The CW has released the first set of official images of Javicia Leslie’s Ryan Wilder in costume.
As the showrunners teased back when Ruby Rose exited the role, Ryan Wilder is now in a newly redesigned Batsuit that was previously worn by Ruby Rose’s Kate Kane. Not only is this new suit is sleek and well-fitted, it should get fans even more exciting for Ryan Wilder’s live-action debut in Batwoman Season 2.
While not much has changed in terms of costume, there are some notable differences in terms of style. The biggest standout in changes comes in the form of the much cleaner and better looking Batsymbol, the heavy red additions in the gauntlets and cape, including the redesigned utility belt. In terms of upgrades this is a huge one and look that fans should look forward to seeing in action when the second season premieres.
Ryan Wilder is also set to make her comic book debut as Batwoman, prior to her live-action debut in Batgirl #50 which will be the series’ final issue. You can catch a preview of that issue right here, that issue will also release later this week.
