Non-Spolier Review
The moment has finally arrived! Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker! A story that began so many years ago has come to its close. The Rebellion will do what it must to finally end the tyranny of the Empire’s successors the First Order. And the final confrontations of the new Jedi Rey and Kylo Ren. Will the light be snuffed out by the dark, or can the force guide our heroes to victory?! You will just have to watch and find out haha
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has hit theaters and the reviews are mixed but when it comes to a franchise that has brought millions of people so much joy is bound to be. I for one have learned (through the Force) to first enjoy the experience and see what the cast and crew have created. Im a huge fan of Star Wars and wont say i can be a bit bias. but in the case of this movie it is still worth the watch. A solid conclusion to the 8 episode storyline that began with a New Hope. The pacing kept you invested throughout the movie as well as the added details to the storyline connecting the previous movies helped fill in the gaps we needed. The fan service was apparent with cameos and name drops.
By no means is the movie perfect, but it redeems itself from the flaws of the previous movies (small story issues) had. i will go into my little gripes when we cover the movie on the podcast. But The Rise of Skywalker has earned a viewing from any Star Wars fan. I enjoyed the movie much more after re-watching the previous 2 just before as well. So minor suggestion lol. My rating will be a solid 3.5 stars. But as a huge fan and loving the nostalgia it gave me, a huge 4.5 🙂
