2020 marks the official start of Phase 4 of the MCU and while Thor: Love and Thunder is well over a year away, that hasn’t stopped director Taika Waititi from providing a small update in regards to the upcoming film. In a recent interview with Variety, Taika reveals that Thor: Love and Thunder will commence filming this coming August in Australia.
Thor: Love and Thunder will be one of two Marvel films filming this summer. As revealed just last week by Deadline, Spider-Man 3 will start filming this summer as well.
In recent news, actor Christian Bale is reportedly in talks to join the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder.
