Jonah Hill might’ve exited talks to join the cast of The Batman but the studio has quickly moved on and filled the villain role that Jonah Hill was aimed to fill. According to The Wrap, Paul Dano has been cast as Edward Nigma, The Riddler in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
The cast for The Batman now consists of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman and now Paul Dano as The Ridder. After yesterday’s reports of Jonah Hill’s exit, it was revealed that the studio was looking to court Seth Rogen for the role of The Penguin. No official talks or negotiations have happened.
