THE BATMAN: JONAH HILL NO LONGER IN TALKS

Casting for Matt Reeves’ The Batman has hit its first major roadblock. The two-time Oscar-Nominated Jonah Hill was in deeps talks to join the film in what was speculated to be the roles of either The Penguin or The Riddler. When this news initially broke, reports were stating that Jonah Hill was asking for a hefty payday before officially joining the cast.

According to a new report by Deadline. Jonah Hill has now backed out of talks for the unspecified role due to him and the movie studio not being able to reach a deal. Deadline also reports that theres interest in Seth Rogen for the role of The Penguin, but no moves have advanced from that.

Recently, Big Little Lies star Zoe Kravitz officially joined the cast and will star opposite Robert Pattinson as the Feline Bombshell Selina Kyle. No other castings have been revealed as of yet.

The Batman arrives in theaters June 25, 2021
