According to a new report by MCU Cosmic, development on a ‘Nova’ solo film has begun over at Marvel Studios. No word on how far into development Marvel is on this project but it is exciting news nonetheless.
If anyone remembers, Kevin Feige has teased the idea of a ‘Nova’ solo film since last year during the Avengers: Infinity War press tour; and seeing how Phase 4 will focus more on the Cosmic side of the MCU. Nova would be a perfect fit right besides The Eternals and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3.
The question now is which version of Nova are they going with? Will they be going with Richard Rider first and in the same movie introduce us into Sam Alexander or will it just be a Sam Alexander solo film, laying more of the groundwork for a Young Avengers team-up film down the line?
It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out since Nova also has ties to The Guardians of The Galaxy. Now that Thor has joined the team, and the team potentially taking on Adam Warlock in this film. I’m thinking they can use all they help they can get.
