John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum arrives full-throttle with heart pounding action in a story that gives you a clear cut picture of who everyone truly is in the world of John Wick.
John Wick: Chapter 3 picks up immediately where John Wick: Chapter 2 left off. John has one hour to escape from his international level bounty that’s now worth $14 million. Everyone and anyone in New York City is out for John Wick’s head as the price for it is too much to pass up.
We don’t want to spoil who are the big contenders for John Wick’s bounty but I will say this…those big contenders were here to play! Every big action sequence was delivered without jump-cuts so you can fully embrace the action and how realistic it can be, which is something that we can and should appreciate given we don’t see this style of cinematography with action movies anymore.
Everything is usually a bunch of jump-cut mumbo jumbo and its hard to make out what’s going on and what’s really happening. The sound editing was top notch, especially during the action sequences. Thus immersing you into the actual battlefield. Another thing we can also appreciate is the love for animals in this film, especially dogs. We love dogs, you love dogs, John loves dogs and Sophia loves dogs. What else can you ask for?!
