Justice League: The Snyder Cut Unleashes Darkseid in the first official teaser clip

HBO Max Releases First Clip of Zack Snyder’s JUSTICE LEAGUE and it features DARKSEID!

It’s been a longtime coming for Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League and after years of clamor, fans are getting what they heavily asked for. With an official announcement that Warner Bros. will be re-investing $20-$30M in order to finish this film and with an official home release on HBO Max in 2021, the anticipation and hype for the film has grown immensely.

Today, HBO Max and Zack Snyder released the first official clip and first official look at his cut of Justice League. Now the first official look could be a bit misleading given the fact that the theatrical version of the film does have a trailer that was cut by Snyder himself. But this is the first official look at the new version of Justice League that we are getting, otherwise known as the Snyder Cut. You can check out the clip below.

The clip focuses on a visibly and physically shaken and petrified Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) staring at a painting of the New God himself, ruler of Apokolips, Darkseid. The clip also features a voice-over of Lex Luthor’s (Jesse Eisenberg) lines from the final stinger scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. A scene in which Luthor is in jail and is visited by Batman (Ben Affleck) and Luthor teases Darkseid’s decent onto Earth now that Superman is dead.

It was a pretty straightforward setup for what was supposed to happen in Justice League when it arrived in 2017 but they setup was never paid off. But now it will.

The Justice League screenplay is by Chris Terrio, story by Chris Terrio & Zack Snyder, based on characters from DC, Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The film’s producers are Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, with executive producers Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, Jim Rowe, Ben Affleck, Wesley Coller, Curtis Kanemoto, and Chris Terrio.

The film is officially slated to arrive on HBO Max in 2021.
