Award season is upon us and it’s off to the races with a hot start at tonight’s Golden Globes. A night filled with first-time winners in Christopher Nolan, Cillian Murphy, and Steven Yeun, also included the great Hayao Mizayaki with his latest cinematic masterpiece, The Boy and the Heron. Despite the strikes, 2023 was filled with a ton of stellar TV shows, films, and unprecedented box-office successes that all deserve more than the critical acclaim, audience praise, and awards they’re aiming to tally up this awards season.
Tonight, what many will consider the best of the best have won not just a single award, but multiple, FX’s The Bear has taken home three Golden Globes, Universal Picture’s Oppenheimer has taken home five Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture (Drama); with Warner Bros. Pictures’ Barbie taking home a pair. Below is the full list of tonight’s Golden Globe Awards winners. Did your favorite TV show or film take home the win?
