It’s been almost a year since James Gunn was fired from Marvel Studios, due to some decade old tweets that were not in the good taste of society, and rightfully so.
It was in the midst of San Diego Comic Con when Gunn was let go. Sony panel appearance cancelled and Gunn took to Twitter to express his apologies about the past. He owned up to his mistakes and accepted the consequences of those actions.
After a surprise Avengers: Endgame trailer release yesterday morning, Disney and Marvel Studios have decided to add to the mix by reinstating James Gunn as writer/director of Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3; which was on indefinite hold, but eyeing a 2021 release.
