BIRDS OF PREY: THE TEAM IS INTRODUCED IN THE FIRST OFFICIAL TRAILER

The Birds of Prey have arrived and it looks like Harley Quinn isn’t the only one looking to be emancipated in this movie. The trailer confirms the already known idea that this film would heavily revolve around Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, who has now broken up with Jared Leto’s Joker.

We get better looks at the actual Birds of Prey, Black Canary, The Huntress, Renee Montoya and Cassandra Cain who becomes Batgirl in the comics; but it seems that this film won’t go that direction. Or so we think. The trailer really emphasizes the new direction and revamp of the one Harley Quinn who was a bit lack luster in Suicide Squad (2016). She has her hyena(s), her mallet and she’s now sporting dynamite! And who doesn’t like it when Harley is blowing things up with dynamite!

We also get a better look at Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, without his Black Mask, which we hope we eventually dons in the film. And while the trailer does focus a lot on Harley Quinn, just like the film itself will do. We can only hope that the rest of the team aren’t overshadowed by that.
