New Pokemon Snap and Pokemon GO are crossing over!
New Pokemon Snap is just a couple of weeks away from its official release on the Nintendo Switch and in celebration of the new release, Pokemon Snap and Pokemon GO are teaming up for a crossover event that will go live on launch day. The New Pokemon Snap Celebration event will give trainers the chance to take on new research tasks featuring the Pokemon GO Snapshot theme. Trainers will be tasked with catching different Pokémon that are found across New Pokémon Snap’s Lental region and grab new camera-themed avatar items from the Pokémon GO Style Shop.
During this event, trainers will also encounter the painter Pokemon Smeargle by completing specific research tasks and by checking some of the snapshot surroundings and for a limited time, trainers can potentially encounter a Shiny Smeargle. If you’re into collecting Shiny Pokemon make sure to keep an eye out for that Shiny Smeargle.
The New Pokemon Snap launches worldwide on April 29th as will the Pokemon Snap and Pokemon Go crossover launch event! Ready-up trainers! Time to do some Poke-research while catching them all!
