The Pokemon Company streamed Pokemon Presents for all fans and enthusiasts to watch as they revealed some exciting news. Utsunomiya the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of The Pokemon Company popped on the screen for the showcase.
Pokemon Unite
First, he shared some insight on Pokemon Unite, their first strategic battle game. The game is very similar to Dota 2. The Switch version of the game was released July 21, 2021, and the mobile version will come out September 22, 2021. Pre-Registration on Google Play and the App Store has begun today. Players will also receive special gifts in the game, based on the number of people who registered for the mobile game. Thanks to the special campaign happening now. There is a Unite license that can be unlocked via the Switch or mobile phone if it is connected to the Switch account. Utsunomiya also gave an update on characters joining the game in the future. Those characters are Mamoswine and Sylveon. More updates to come soon!
Pokemon Cafe Remix
Pokemon Cafe Mix gets a revamp with a new title, Pokemon Cafe Remix! The puzzles have been refreshed with new elements. Tons of new Pokemon will come to Remix with new dress-up options. There will be new ways of helping your staff Pokemon grow. This puzzle game opens its doors in the fall, the set release is September 22nd!
Pokemon Shining Pearl and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond
Next, Pokemon Shining Pearl and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond games were brought up. It started off with an inspiring in-game trailer pandering to us aspiring trainers. Breathtaking landscape for you to travel on, as you make new friends and capture Pokemon. Meet Professor Rowan who is researching Pokemon Evolution. Cynthia, dressed in black, is a mysterious person who shows up during your adventures. In the Grand Underground, you can participate in different activities such as designing Pokeball or your own base with different statues. Change your gym trainer’s outfit to dazzle out in battle. These different encounters and adventures await you! Both games will be available on November 19, 2021. After the broadcast, orders became available on the Nintendo eShop.
Special Nintendo Switch Lite
Also announced was a special Nintendo Switch Lite Dialga and Palkia Edition. This special Switch is dressed up with the art of legendary Pokemon Dialga and Palkia, bringing back the 2006 DS edition. It will be available on November 5th of this year!
Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is being developed by GAME FREAK. It has similar elements to Breath of the Wild which was an incredible Zelda game. The trailer features Arceus in RPG style fused with action. The Hisui region is where the game is set. The natural scenic wonders of a variety of landscapes and visuals where it was rare for people to live with Pokemon. These different wonders are home to a variety of Pokemon ecosystems. The land will become the Sinnoh region. Jubilife Village is the base for your adventures, which is home to The Galaxy Expedition Team. Hisuian Growlith protects its territory and has soft fur that works as an insulator which allows it to survive and thrive in this chilly land. Catch this adventure on January 28, 2022. Preorders start after the showcase as well!
Pokemon Masters EX
Pokemon Masters Ex celebrates its two-year anniversary with some awesome events. Dynamax is here as well as Sygna Suit partnered with Eternatus. Team up with these guys for the legendary event starting Wednesday, August 18th! In honor of this anniversary, players will get to team up with 100 sync pairs at no cost and three legendary Pokemon.
