Kazuya Tekken Super Smash Bros Ultimate The Nerdy Basement

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Tekken’s Kazuya Mishima Joins the Battle June 29th, 2021

During Nintendo’s ‘Nintendo Direct’ livestream which aired during E3 2021, Masahiro Sakurai announced that Tekken’s Kazuya Mishima would arrive in Super Smash Bros Ultimate on June 29th. We were told to stay tuned for more information on Kazuya and here it is! He will be part of the Ultimate Challenger Pack 10, and according to Mr. Sakurai, the last of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2. This will also include an actual stage from the Tekken game as well. Kazuya looks like he is ready to pack a punch!

Kazuya Super Smash Bros. Ultimate The Nerdy Basement

According to Nintendo, Kazuya’s main attacks will be like his moves and techniques as commonly seen in TEKKEN. In perfect Super Smash Bros style, the series will activate Kazuya’s devil powers where he can transform into a powerful winged demon. Unlike most of the stages in Smash, the one the Mishima DOJO will not be moving. The teaser trailer from Nintendo Direct at E3 showing off the epic fight between Kazuya and Captain Falcon made me excited to try him out!

Alongside Kazuya will be new Mii Fighter Costumes, with Devil May Cry’s Dante, The Elder Scrolls Dragonborn, and tales of Symphonia’s Lloyd. According to Mr. Sarukai, these DLC characters will be the second to last. But there is one more character to be announced. Some think it is going to be Kingdom Heart’s Sora, but I just hope the character is good!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Invite The Nerdy Basement

It would be nice if they brought another character from the Nintendo franchise to honor the brand that made this game so loved by many enthusiastic fans. Sakurai has signaled the end of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate character DLC, but is it the end for him? Who do you think will be the last character to be revealed? Let us know we would love to hear from you!
