We have yet another piece of history here folks, the 96-page spectacular issue 750 for WONDER WOMAN has arrived!! Tracing back her origins to All-Star comics in 1942 she has withstood the test of time. And has continued to be a source of truth and justice. Now thanks to our own Scott Snyder has definitively made her the worlds first super hero in “Brave New World” story. Wonder Woman is a hero for all! With storytellers contributing to the issue also include Colleen Doran, Mariko Tamaki, legendary Wonder Woman creators Gail Simone, Liam Sharp, Nicola Scott and Greg Rucka returning to the character, and more! Wonder Woman #750 also features pinup artwork by Ramona Fradon, José Luis Garcia-López, Emanuela Lupacchino, Bilquis Evely and Travis Moore. The issue is jammed packed with tales of the Diana’s character and exploits. Which has kept readers enthralled throughout the years.

Wonder Woman #750

Let us begin with the finale of the Wild Hunt arc by Steve Orlando. The first story for this monumental book. If you’re not caught up with the current arc. Sorry SPOILERS, the goddess Hera has made her arrival to confront Cheetah for her misdeeds. Wonder Woman is fighting in all fronts as she attempts to prevent Silencer from gaining a killing blow on Cheetah as well as stopping Cheetah for good. The battle wages and spirits are renewed when Wonder Woman gains control over the Golden Perfect once more. Showing Hera, Cheetah their truths which were enough to end the fighting. Also for anyone keeping up with Justice League, we now know what happened to Cheetah prior to her going back to the Legion of Doom. This transitions to a new resolve for Wonder Woman and a new look. Bracelets reforged stronger than ever, gained a new sword, and shield. Her story continues after Year of the Villain with her about to be arrested. So Steve Orlando has some good stuff in the works. I’m excited to see what Steve does with this run, the annual issue introduced a new villain birthed from the Leviathan event that should put Wonder Woman through some moral battles.

With the finale to the Wild Hunt concluded, the guest writers flex their amazonian muscles giving us tales of the incredible hero’s greatest strengths. My standout favorites came from Greg Rucka “Never Change”, Vita Ayala “Always”, and Scott Snyders “Brave New World”. Each one resonated with me throughout the issue. And by no means am I saying anything bad about the other tales. These were just my favorites. Each tale shows us why Wonder Woman has always been the hero we depended on. And it isn’t because she’s truly a badass warrior but because her character is forever strong. I would go into detail but the issue deserves a read :). I will say with DC now making her the first superhero of the DC Comics in timeline sense. We can be sure to expect some cool one-shots.

All in all this issue is a great read. Not only because it will now be a part of history but from the great stories these amazing writers have also contributed proves the Wonder Woman is a force to be reckoned with. Let me know what you thought of the issue as well in the comments!
