REPORT: ALL-ELITE WRESTLING (AEW) TAG TEAMS WITH DC COMICS


New upstart wrestling promotion, All-Elite Wrestling (AEW), has tag-team partnered with DC Comics to produce comic books, promotional illustrations and marketing materials featuring members of their talent roster!

AEW is under WarnerMedia, which also serves as parent company for DC Comics. As a result, inuagural AEW Champion and wrestling icon, Chris Jericho, will kickstart the partnership with promotional art by superstar artist, Howard Porter (The Flash, Justice League) with other superstars following. The images will be officially available as posters Thursday, October 3rd, as part of AEW’s NYCC Panel and Q&A session and in conjunction with the brand’s syndication rights to weekly wrestling shows via TNT network.

Furthermore, Jericho will be making history again as the only wrestler to appear in comic book form for four major comic books while under different wrestling promotions: CMLL (who self-published), WCW (who licensed their comics through Marvel), WWE (currently publishing with BOOM! Studios) and now AEW (through partnership with DC).
