Gold Lantern has been promised since the start of Bendis and Sook’s run on Legion of Super-Heroes, and made a brief but impactful appearance in the sold-out issue #6 this week, with more of this new character to come in subsequent issues!
To cement his status as the future’s newest galactic hero, Gold Lantern will be featured in a 1:25 variant cover for Legion of Super-Heroes #7 on July 28, highlighting the design work of series artist Ryan Sook. The Legion of Super-Heroes #7 1:25 variant is a card stock cover with a cover price of $4.99.
Additionally, DC is rushing back to press for a second printing of Legion of Super-Heroes #6 to arrive on July 7! Gold Lantern—the 31st century’s exciting addition to the Green Lantern mythos—flew into action in this week’s sold-out Legion of Super-Heroes #6 by Brian Michael Bendis and Ryan Sook!
From my perspective I have got to say that seeing a new addition to the Lantern Corps mythos is crazy exciting! Rest assured we will be sitting on the edge of our seats, intently waiting for issue 7 of Legion of Super-Heroes. Bring on the epic Gold Lantern Origin!
