The first Saturday of May is always a special day for longtime comic book readers and newcomers alike. It’s a day everyone can come together, pick up some new titles and either embark on a new journey or embark on a journey they have never been on before.
Taking place on May 4, 2019 this year, free comic book day is loaded with some awesome titles and goodies for everyone and anyone. Whether you’re a fan of Marvel or DC, or if you simply like indie titles; hey, there’s even comics aimed for children. So everyone and anyone can join in on the fun.
Thanks to Diamond Comic Distributors we have the full slate of comics releasing next Saturday. Check them all out below and see what title(s) you might want to pick up.
FCBD 2019 GOLD COMICS:
The Gold Tier of FCBD comics is pretty stacked! From the likes of Marvel’s Avengers, to Valiant’s Bloodsot, Image Comics’ Deadly Class and the wildly popular Pokemon. There’s something for everyone! I highly recommend checking them all out, but if I were to pick a specific title to personally recommend. I would choose Deadly Class.
The tv series just recently ended its first season, and has been praised by fans and looks like it’ll be heading into a second season, though, no confirmation or announcements have been made. Plus its written by Rick Remender.
FCBD 2019 SILVER COMICS:
The Silver Tier of FCBD is also stacked with some fan favorite titles, children’s books and anime titles. My Hero Academia should be instantly recognized by children and anime fans alike. Along with Spawn, Street Fighter and Spider-Man/Cargnage.
