Amazing Spider-Man One-of-a-kind “Shattered” Comic Book Mosaic Sells For $20K at DIG
Diamond International Galleries announces the sale of original art homage to Amazing Spider-Man #129 the 1st appearance of The Punisher for an “amazing” $20,000.00!
The Original art is an oversized handcrafted shattered tile mosaic and was the first published Marvel variant created by artist Matthew DiMasi. The image of the mosaic was used for the cover of the 2018 Marvel Legacy Amazing Spider-Man #789. Measuring an impressive 35” x 52”, this mosaic was first displayed in 2018 at New York Comic-Con where it caught the eye of avid collector Thomas Fish of Blowoutcards.com.
“When I first saw it I had to have it and after almost 2 years my persistence paid off. It was a pleasure working with both Matt and Diamond Galleries and I am very happy to add this amazing piece to my collection” said Fish.
