FIRST LOOK: Batman 89 #1


Batman 89 #1 from Sam Hamm and Joe Quinones is set to hit shelves on August 10th. DC Comics has released an official first look at the upcoming new series filled with nostalgia as it takes fans back to 1989’s Gotham City which was brought to life by Tim Burton, Michael Keaton, Jack Nickelson, and Billie Dee Williams. Batman 89 #1 which is written by screenwriter Sam Hamm with art from comic book artist Joe Quinones will pull on several threads left dangling by Tim Burton in this incredible new comic book miniseries!

In Batman 89 #1 Gotham City is being torn in two as citizens dressed as Batman and The Joker duke it out in the streets! As D.A. Harvey Dent tries to keep the city together, he targets the one problem tearing it apart: BATMAN! And he’ll get Bruce Wayne’s help in taking down the Dark Knight!
