Creators of the acclaimed new Filipino anime series, Trese, joins Anime Expo Lite 2021 program
The time is upon us once again to announce another exciting addition to this year’s Anime Expo Lite 2021. While the event will be held virtually once again, that isn’t stopping Anime Expo Lite to bring the latest and greatest of the anime and manga industry to the fan-favorite event. Coming in hot off a newly released anime on Netflix, Trese creators will be joining this year’s Anime Lite Expo VOD programming which will be available starting July 5, 2021, at 12:00 PM (PST) and running thru July 16th, 2021.
Anime Expo Lite’s Trese panel will be hosted by ABLAZE publishing, the publishing company that has published the Trese graphic novel series. The panel will feature the creators of the original graphic novel Budjette Tan (Writer) and KaJO
Baldisimo (Artist), as well as Jay Oliva, the Executive Producer, Director & Showrunner of Netflix’s TRESE, and Rich Young, the co-founder of ABLAZE.
Virtual tickets to Anime Lite Expo are just $5 each with all proceed benefiting the Hate Is A Virus commUNITY Action Fund. Following the conclusion of Anime Expo ticket-holders can rewatch the content including any additional programming on a VOD basis starting July 5, 2021 – July 16, 2021
Anime Expo Lite 2021 marks the 30th Anniversary of the long-running annual convention. Anime Expo is the biggest North American fan celebration for Japanese pop culture including anime, TV & film, fashion, video games, manga, dance, live concerts, collectibles, and exclusive convention merchandise, presented as an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages.
