The upcoming anime series Somali and the Forest Spirit based on the manga by Yako Gureishi of the same name has released an official trailer, a new key visual, and its official cast members.
Somali and the Forest Spirit will be part of Crunchyroll’s Winter 2020 simulcast lineup and will premiere sometime in January. Somali and the Forest Spirit follows the journey of a young girl who befriends a golem, the golem is tasked with protecting the forest.
The new cast members of Somali and the Forest Spirit include:
- Shô Hayami as Musurika.
- Tomokazu Seki as Kokilia.
- Ai Kayano as Hazel.
- Ayahi Takagahi as Praline.
- And Rie Shibata as Rosa.
Synopsis:
In Somali and the Forest Spirit, the human species has been persecuted and driven to the point of extinction, and the surface world is ruled by a host of unusual-looking humanoids. One day in this strange world, Golem, the guardian of the forest, encounters a young human girl who addresses Golem as “Dad”. This is the story of that fateful meeting, the father-daughter bond that grows between human being and forest guardian, and their journey together.
