REVIEW: MY HERO ACADEMIA CHAPTER 260 ‘LIFE’S WORK’

For the last couple of chapters, Horikoshi has been hinting at something huge happening to the Pro Hero’s of My Hero Academia but with the latest chapter, we’re getting ever so closer to finding out what exactly what happened to our favorite Pro Hero’s.

MY HERO ACADEMIA

* Spoilers Ahead*

Horikoshi has been on fire with the last few chapters and he gives another great chapter as the heroes reach Dr. Ujiko’s base of operations and are finally able to confront the man who’s been helping All For One and the League of Villians, and hopefully stop Shigaraki from going through the full quirk transformation. Before Ujiko can do anything, Eraserhead uses his quirk on him. It had me a bit puzzled by the results, as Ujiko starts to get old as if he has an immortality quirk. My guessing would be that this could be how All For One and the Nomu survived for so long.

MY HERO ACADEMIA

Before anyone else has a chance to do anything Present Mic begs Ujiko to tell him what he did to his long-dead friends who he turned into Shigaraki’s personal guard Kurogiri. But, before he can get any answers, a doctor from the hospital stops him, claiming that Ujiko is a good man. But that’s quickly dispatched by Endeavour as he orders the other heroes to evacuate the doctors and patients.

While that is happening Miriko is running towards the morgue as the Nomu are pouring out of the walls. But, while that is happening Ujiko is saved by a weird-looking Nomu. Because of that Ujiko is badly injured. It is revealed that he was just a clone and that the real Ujiko was prepared for the hero’s arrival.

We then cut to the real Ujiko and we see Shigaraki in some sort of tube. Ujiko tries to get out with Shigaraki as fast as possible but Miriko breaks through the wall stoping Ujiko before he can escape, with nowhere left run what will happen to Ujiko?

Horikoshi delivers another great chapter of My Hero Academia leaving me wanting more and more from this current arc.
