‘Given The Movie’ to Stream on Crunchyroll In 2021

Given fans, it’s to get excited! Crunchyroll has announced that “Given The Movie” will be streaming on Crunchyroll next year worldwide outside of Asia. The film is a sequel to the popular anime following the band “Given” as they navigate new adventures in romance and music.

Crunchyroll simulcast the anime series “Given” in late 2019 and each of the episodes are references to British rock songs, which happens to be the favorite genre of the band’s lead guitarist Ritsuka Uenoyama. Fans interested in streaming the film can stay tuned across their regional Crunchyroll social pages for more info on the premiere date. 

Given The Movie

About “Given The Movie” – High school student Ritsuka Uenoyama is shocked when he hears Mafuyu Sato’s singing voice. He and his other band mates, Haruki Nakayama and Akihiko Kaji, then welcome him into their band as a vocalist. After Mafuyu joins, their first live performance is a huge success, and they make their official debut as the band “Given.” In the midst of all this, Ritsuka realizes that he has feelings for Mafuyu and they start seeing each other. Meanwhile, Haruki secretly has had feelings for Akihiko for years, but Akihiko was still in a relationship with his roommate, the violinist Ugetsu Murata. Haruki, Akihiko, and Ugetsu’s love clashes on the big screen and starts to move forward.
