Crunchyroll Brings “Food Wars! The Third Plate” to Toonami This Month
Crunchyroll, the world’s most popular anime brand, is bringing the exciting culinary competition show “Food Wars! The Third Plate” to Toonami, the iconic television programming block on Adult Swim, later this month. The linear television premiere of the series will bring all 24 episodes to Toonami, with new episodes airing every Saturday starting on February 27 at 1 AM EST.
“Food Wars!” follows the young Soma Yukihira as he battles to the top of the elite Totsuki Academy. About “Food Wars! The Third Plate” – At Totsuki Academy’s annual gourmet jubilee, students wage fierce culinary war as they try to out-earn their peers. Soma Yukihira, however, has his sights set on a grander prize: challenging the Elite Ten, who rule over the academy with iron fists.
