Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Gets a New Trailer & Release Window For North America

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Jaiba: The Movie: Mugen Train has released a new trailer, a new key visual, and a new release window for its North American release.

Demon Slayer: Mugen Train is ready to pull on the heartstrings of anime fans across the nation when it arrives next year. Last month during Funimation’s FunimationCon event, Aniplex of America announced that they were bringing the film to North America and it was set to release later this year. Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic, the film’s release window has been pushed back to 2021.

While no actual release date is set in stone, fans were treated to an emotionally driven, action-packed trailer that sets the stage for a massive showdown between Tanjiro, the Fire Hashira Rengoku, and one of the Twelve Moons.

The trailer also debuts the film’s theme “Homura” performed by none other than LiSa. LiSa has been breaking records with her hit song “Gurenge”, the opening theme song to the first season of Demon Slayer. The song has hit over 1 million downloads since the finale of the series’ first season.

A second season for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has not been announced but it is expected to be announced sometime after the film’s release. Season One of the hit anime series can be streamed on Hulu, Crunchyroll and FunimationNOW.
