Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Mugen Train North America Release Announced at FunimationCon 2020


Funimation and Aniplex of America have partnered up to bring Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yiaba Mugen Train to North America

FunimationCon 2020 is off to a fiery start! During the first hour of the virtual event, Funimation started its show guns blazing with a ton of new and returning anime announcements, exclusive interviews, and screenings. Fans are in for a massive treat this weekend with FunimationCon.

One of the huge announcements during the first hour of the event was the announcement of Funimation and Aniplex of America teaming up to bring Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train feature film to North American theaters. Of course, that’s when fans are finally able to attend theaters amidst the coronavirus pandemic. While there’s no official North America release date set as of yet. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train is slated to release later this year in Japanese theaters.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s debut season became one of the hottest anime series of 2019, leaving fans all across the world hoping for a second season. Although a second season was not officially confirmed, a feature film was instead announced as a continuation to the first season; adapting the Infinite Train arc of the manga.
