Crunchyroll to deliver the dub premiere of ‘ODDTAXI’ and One Piece 1000 celebration to Anime NYC later this month
It’s that time of year again where weebs of all ages come together to take over the Javits Center in New York City to collectively geek out about their favorite anime. With Anime NYC just around the corner, Crunchyroll has officially announced its huge slate of panels, celebrations, photo ops, and premieres for this year’s convention. Including the dub premiere of ODDTAXI and the premiere of the 1000th episode of One Piece.
In addition to their massive slate of panels, Crunchyroll is sporting a brand-new booth on the Anime NYC show floor featuring fun activities and giveaways. Crunchyroll will be located at Booth #426, while at the booth, fans can participate in photo ops for One Piece in which fans can snap a photo and become part of the Straw Hat legacy and in return, get an Anime NYC exclusive One Piece 1000 poster. With the Blade Runner: Black Lotus photo op, fans can step inside the cyberpunk world of Black Lotus and be immersed in the show’s setting after experiencing it on Crunchyroll and Adult Swim on November 13th. Ride with Odokawa and snap a picture with the ODDTAXI photo op!
Fans can also expect the usual roundup of fun Crunchyroll giveaways and show swag from series including JUJUTSU KAISEN, Platinum End, The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat, The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window, ODDTAXI, Muv-Luv Alternative, and more.

One Piece 1000th episode premiere & special presentation

The 1000th episode of One Piece is this Saturday night and we want to make it a special one for all of you here at Anime NYC! Leading up to the 1000th episode of One Piece, our friends at Funimation, Toei Animation, and Youtube creator RogersBase will present episodes 998 & 999 with a variety of extra surprises like fan videos and more. Before the 1000th episode premieres, there will also be a round of One Piece trivia and everyone who attends this event will receive an exclusive One Piece episode 1000 challenge coin!
