Its time to spin-up and resleeve as we venture back to the world of Altered Carbon in this all-new spin-off anime series set in the same universe as the live-action Netflix Original Series Altered Carbon. The series will be exploring new elements of Altered Carbon’s mythology.

*Altered Carbon Season 2 Spoilers Ahead*
For those who watched both seasons of Altered Carbon will know and remember that by the end of Altered Carbon season one, Takeshi Kovacs swapped out his sleeve for a new one, thus leading us into Altered Carbon season two, where we find Takeshi Kovacs in a brand-new enhanced sleeve. Notice how the trailer makes mention of that.
It’ll be interesting to see if this version of Takeshi Kovacs is in a new sleeve or the same/original sleeve he’s last seen in at the end of Altered Carbon season two, which is the same sleeve he wears in Altered Carbon season one.
Synopsis:
On the planet Latimar, Takeshi Kovacs must protect a tattooist while investigating the death of a yakuza boss alongside a no-nonsense CTAC.
Dai Sato, the creative mind behind “Cowboy Bebop,” further explores and expands upon the “Altered Carbon” universe in this anime adaptation. Altered Carbon: Resleeved will use a mix of Netflix’s staple 2D/3D animation style. A style of animation used for the majority of Netflix’s original anime like Ultraman, Baki, and others.
