If “The Death and Return of Superman” seems like the most fitting title of collected animated story based on the death and resurrection of The Man of Steel himself Superman, then you’re absolutely right!
DC Animated hit us hard in the feels when they released “The Death of Superman” in the summer of 2018. They then followed that up in 2019 with an animated adaptation of “Reign of the Supermen” to culminate that animated story of Superman’s death and his return. Warner Bros. has announced and revealed the official release date and featured content for the collected edition of these two films dubbed “The Death and Return of Superman”

While the trailer doesn’t necessarily feature anything new per se, it does mesh the trailers for both films into one exciting trailer to get you up and ready to buy this collected set when it releases on October 1st, later this year.
The Blu-ray gift set will consist of the following:

As seen above, the Blu-ray will contain a hefty 45 minutes worth of never-before-seen footage, all gift sets are limited edition and will be numbered and will also contain an exclusive Steel figurine. Thats a lot of content for just $34.99! Even if you’ve watched both films on The DC Universe, its still worth a buy. Whether it’s for your personal collection or for that special someone, it’s simply a must have.
