TOY STORY

The mission to create life long childhood memories for Bonnie is on, in the first full-length Toy Story 4 movie trailer.

The first official Toy Story 4 trailer is here and we couldn’t be anymore excited. First premiering on Good Morning America and later releasing online. We find the gang of old friends reunited once again. This time, they’re taking a new friend under their wing, Forky.

TOY STORY

Forky, as revealed in the trailer is a new “toy” created by Bonnie, who we last see at the end of Toy Story 3. If you don’t remember Bonnie. She is the little girl Andy donates all his old toys to at the end of Toy Story 3, before leaving home for college.

TOY STORY

Based on the trailer, Forky isn’t too keen on being a toy. How is he alive? We don’t know, but we’ll just chalk it up to “reasons”. Hey, it is a children’s movie at the end of the day!

Woody takes on the responsibility of Forky and tries to convince him that he is more than just a spork, that’s used for soup. Of course, things don’t go as planned and the mission to reunite with Bonnie, rescue Woody and Forky has begun.

TOY STORY

Until Woody reunites with Bo Peep. She is now a lost toy, who’s been able to adapt to living in the outside world and not restricted to the confinements of a child’s room and their toy box. She tries her best to try to convince Woody that there’s more to just being a kid’s toy. The world is bigger than that. Change is good, or so we think!

Following the trailer an official theatrical poster for the film was released which you can check out below. We’ll discuss this and more on this upcoming episode of The Nerdy Basement Podcast.
