We are just hours aways from the official official, yes you read that right, official official announcement of the Disney/Fox merger/acquisition. With 21st Century Fox taking to Twitter early this morning to officially announce completion. Reports are stating that the deal will be official on March 20, 2019, which is tomorrow. But that didn’t stop Fox’s early announcement.
Ryan Reynolds star of Deadpool, Deadpool 2 and now Pokemon Detective Pikachu, took to Instagram and Twitter to sort of celebrate the official announcement in typical Wade Wilson, Deadpool-ish fashion.
Ahh, yes it does Mr. Pool…yes it does! As far as we know, despite it not being officially confirmed. Ryan Reynolds will remain as Deadpool post merger and his version of Deadpool will be MCU canon. Now, with Bob Iger confirming that they want to continue building off the success of Deadpool, it’ll be interesting to see how Reynolds and Disney/Marvel Studios plays around with the idea of Deadpool in their cinematic universe.
I’m sure Mr. Pool will be down with a little fun and games. He is quite fond of a little fondling!
