Captain Marvel has soared higher, further, faster during its opening weekend with a massive $154M box office intake. Globally Captain Marvel hauled in $455M in its opening weekend, photon blasting the previous record set by Marvel Studios’ Black Panther.

Heading into its second box office weekend, Deadline is reporting that Captain Marvel is looking to blast away the box office once again and outdo this coming weekend’s new releases with a possible $70M box office intake. Wondering what these new releases are? Check them out below:

It’s no easy feat outdoing three big studio releases but it looks like Captain Marvel and Marvel Studios has the box office locked in. Captain Marvel is also eyeing to surpass $500M in global ticket sales as well.
