On last night’s edition of WWE Backstage, during journalist Ryan Satin‘s segment ‘The Satin Sheet‘, it was announced that WWE has re-signed John Morrison (aka ‘JoMo’/Johnny Mundo/Johnny Nitro/The Shaman Of Sexy/The Guru Of Greatness, et al.) to a multi-year contract.
Within minutes, the news was later confirmed by Morrison himself via his Twitter account!
For months, news had resurfaced that Morrison would indeed return to the company since he departed in 2011. Back on September 26, 2019, Mike Johnson of Pro Wrestling Insider was first to break the news that Morrison was in talks to re-signing. However, the company was said to being very interested in having the former Inter-Continental, multi-Tag Team Titleholder and ECW Champion back on the roster.
No word or details yet on whether Morrison will debut on the RAW or Smackdown brand nor a debut date. ▪
