Following a massive wave of fan backlash, Paramount Pictures’ Sonic the Hedgehog is back sporting a brand new look in a brand new official trailer!
The initial trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog, fan outcry ran rampant as fans were beyond displeased with the look of the character, and rightfully so. The character designers on the team, immediately took to Twitter to reveal that they will be going back to the drawing board and redesigning Sonic’s look.

You can see why fans of Sonic’s iconic look were infuriated. All in all, hats off to the design team for giving fans what they rightfully deserved and what Sonic deserved for that matter. To complement the new look and the new trailer, a new movie poster was also released for the film.
Sporting a new look at well is Jim Carrey’s, Dr. Robotnik. Sonic The Hedgehog arrives in theaters on February 14, 2020.
