DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA ANIME FILM ANNOUNCED

KIMETSU

Demon Slayer has officially wrapped up the fiery first season of its anime. Not only did it do it in a heartwarming way. But it ended as a perfect segue-way to its newly announced film, which will be adapting the Infinity Train Arc from the manga.

While a release date was not revealed, a teaser was shown and premiered immediately after the season finale of Demon Slayer. You can check out the official teaser above.

As seen in the finale and in the teaser, the Infinity Train Arc focuses around our main characters, Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke; and of course best girl Nezuko. Here, the main cast are to meet with Demon Slayer Corp Hashira, Flame Pillar Rengoku. As he’s been tasked to board this train and slay the demon that’s inhabited this very train. Lower Moon Emnu has been tasked with killing the Demon Slayer Corp Hashira and Tanjiro.

We’ll refrain from spoiling anything from the manga for those who do not read it. Word across the internet from the manga readers is that this arc, is very emotionally driven and will be heart wrenching.

The film has been confirmed to be produced at Ufotable and will see the return of director Haruo Sotozaki. Character designer Akira Matsushima will return as well.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is currently streaming on Funimation, Crunchyroll and HULU
